It's been five years since you left us.


On that humid June day, as I combed the sea for you, I realize that you have disappeared. You have chosen to go to a place where you are no longer tethered to the rules and restrains of this world.

You have chosen to leave and I respect that.



But tonight, I just miss you.

The existential philosopher Jean Paul Sartre once said,
"People are like dice, you throw yourself in the direction of your own choosing."

Everyone has different circumstances, but at the very least you can throw yourself. No matter how small your choice.

Do you believe in fate, destiny, or chance? Are some destined for greatness while the rest condemned to live a life of mediocrity?

Everyone gets to cast a die, but not everyone gets a six.


Such is life.

But at least you chose.

Wow, it's been more than a year since I last updated this rusty space of mine. My busted ankle has healed and I am officially out of the military service. Unfettered once more.

So much has happened in retrospect- including an intrepid sojourn to Taiwan for a military exercise- my pièce de résistance of sorts. On hindsight, it was a mixture of stark madness and sheer joy.

I also need to start catching up with my art. There is a work-in-progress art screaming for me to finish it, but I haven't really have got the time after immersing in a eight-to-six temp job. But at least it pays decent, so I'm not complaining. >.>

Oh, and if you manage to read till here, you rock. Thanks for watching my art and giving me support all this time. n_n

Just a quick update L:

1) I broke my left ankle bone, and so now it's in a psychedellic plaster cast and my only means of mobility are my crutches. Hopefully, I wouldn't need surgery to screw the bone back. Ow.

2) Incidentally, I have greater time now to catch up on my anime, manga, novels and of course my ultra-uber rare drawings. Finishing up on the lineart on my most ambitious piece yet.. and hopefully, I'd get around to color it *teh rusty*. : D Look forward to it, please. >_>

3) Next kiriban is 22,222 if anyone is interested. =_o

4) I know I may not be around much these days or draw as much as I'd like to, but you guys rawk. Sincere thank you for liking my art.. >_<
